About Us

Since 1970, we have been manufacturing polyethylene and polypropylene bags for businesses with a wide range of packaging needs.

Located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Peace Products has grown from a small packaging supply business into a flexible packaging manufacturer, converter, and printer serving customers throughout the United States.

Today, we produce plain and printed poly bags for food, healthcare, retail, industrial, and other packaging applications.

Our Story

Peace Products Company was founded in 1970 by Kenneth R. Trimble. After working for a company that extruded film and manufactured its own bags, Ken decided to start a packaging business of his own.

Our company began in the basement of Kenneth R. Trimble’s home, distributing packaging supplies to industrial customers. At the time, Peace Products supplied products ranging from poly bags and tape to foam and strapping.

As the business grew, so did our capabilities. Peace Products moved through several locations in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, and eventually purchased its first polyethylene bag converting machine and delivery truck at its Boot Road location.

That investment marked an important change for us. We were no longer only distributing packaging supplies. We were beginning to manufacture the bags our customers needed.

Continued growth brought us to Winding Way Lane in Newtown Square, then East King Street in Malvern, and eventually to our current facility at 143 Pennsylvania Avenue in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

More Than Five Decades of Growth

  • 1970: Where It Started: Kenneth R. Trimble founded Peace Products Company and began distributing packaging supplies from the basement of his home.
  • Growing Into Manufacturing: As customer demand increased, we invested in polyethylene bag converting equipment and expanded from packaging distribution into poly bag manufacturing.
  • Peace Products Today: More than five decades later, we operate as a flexible packaging converter and printer, serving customers across the United States from our facility in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Peace Products offer both stock and custom packaging options

Yes. Peace Products works with packaging needs ranging from stock bags to custom constructions, with options for different bag styles, films, printing, and other specifications based on the application.

What information should I provide when requesting a packaging quote?

Providing the bag dimensions, thickness, quantity, intended use, and whether the bag will be printed helps Peace Products understand the project. For printed bags, details such as the number of colors and printed sides can also be included.

What is the minimum order quantity for a custom poly bag?

That really depends on the type of film or the function of the bag. The film generally needs to be extruded at certain thicknesses, features, etc. Our extruders will have certain minimums for these custom packages.
